Using a roll formed profile as an example, our design engineer Lander Arrupe will show you in this 20-minutes workflow demonstration how you can make the design process as effective as possible by using COPRA RF and how you can save cost and time by simulating the production process in COPRA FEA RF.

Lander will guide you through the forming process in COPRA RF. The software gives you the right tool to develop your perfect forming strategy by using parametric roll design and 3D view rolls, as well as a fast and effective flower creation with Spread Sheet and DTM (deformation technology module).

For the verification of your forming strategy, Lander will show you, how easy it is to create a FEA model and interpret your simulation results for understanding possible defects in your roll design. Thanks to numerous auxiliary functions and analysis tools, no specialized FEA knowledge is required.

Through the intelligent interconnectedness of our COPRA products, simulation results will be available for design review immediately.

• Lander Arrupe studied Mechanical Engineering at the university of Stuttgart. He is working as Project Engineer at data M Sheet Metal Solutions GmbH in Germany since 2006. As experienced roll forming expert and user of data M’s design software COPRA RF and COPRA FEA RF Lander Arrupe is high in demand for complex customer projects, specialist trainings or roll forming workshops. Lander Arrupe is regularly travelling to customers all over the world to share his knowledge. As distinguished expert in FEA he knows how to work on solutions for the most complex issues the roll forming industry is facing.
