Roll Forming Experts in One Workshop
On June 5-6, 2024 the Roll Forming Technology Council from Fabricators and Manufacturers Association hosting its "world class roll forming workshop" in Lousville, KY. THis 2 day conference is a long.standing program where top experts in the rollforming field are giving presentations and networking with the attendees.

Carl Stephenson, managing director of data M (UK) Sheet Metal Solutions Ltd. will be giving a presentation and demonstration about the topic "taking your roll design to the next level". This preentation has been very well received in former workshops because it focusses on open profiles (but not ordinary ones) - a complex shape with high strength material and in addition a hole pattern to be considered.
Long gone are the days of trying to find the needle in the haystack during roll tool design and development at the mill. By using a structured approach within the COPRA workflow, we are now able to find the root causes of many issues and problems we are facing and maybe even designing “into” our roll trains.
